It's Time

The Wasatch Back is tomorrow. Ready or not here I come! I'm terrified. When I start thinking about it I get nauseous and my hands begin to sweat. All of a sudden I only remember the days I didn't run. Did I even train for this?

The pit in my stomach is huge and growing. At this time tomorrow I'll be running as part of a 12-person relay team running from Logan to Park City, Utah. I'm excited for the journey but terrified all the same. I have absolutely nothing to complain about because I know I have some of the easier legs but I'm still nervous.

I won't be blogging but I will be tweeting so if you want to track my progress or hear what I have to say about the race, my legs (both physical and relay), my team, and life in general look up my twitter account during the day www.twitter.com/chanandt

Disclaimer: I have no idea what my attitude or mood will be like during those 24 hours so I'm pretty sure my filter will be…scewed. I will do my best to filter but know that I'll be tired, hungry, and oh-so smelly.

Wish me luck!

You are going to have so much fun doing the wasatch back. Eric did it last year and has planning all year for it this year. You'll probably wonder what you were thinking and then a couple days later, talk about doing it next year. What is your team name and number? Maybe I'll see you (or a team member)! Have fun!!!!!!

Oh my gosh good luck!!! Joseph called matt at 7:30am today and asked if he could have a sleepover. I thought for sure he was in trouble with you...than I heard you were running for 2 days. I feel like a proud mom, I think you are amazing!!!!!! I want to be you.

My hubby did that 3 years ago, he said never again! I hope your experience was a little better. I've always used my short legs as an excuse for why I'm not a good runner, it's a good thing you have nice long ones:)
