I can't believe the race is already over. The stress, anxiety, and utter nervousness is done with (dear face this is your queue to stop with the break out). It was such an amazing experience, I'm so glad that I did it and would do it again.
I wish I could explain the entire experience - the restlessness, excitement, exhaustion, and anticipation. Those 30 hours felt like 4 days but at the same time went by so fast. In the Babe Mobile (plus Jeff) car we kept referring to our previous legs in the days past when in reality they were less than 12 hours prior.
I had the best team and the best van. I only knew Penny to begin with but by the end felt like I'd known the entire van for years.
One of my favorite parts of the race was my last leg (for obvious reasons) but also because my parents and my sister Sydney came to cheer me on. Please note that my last leg started before 6am but they were there bright and early to make sure they didn't miss it - it was awesome!
I don't know what I'm thinking but I've already registered for the Top of Utah Half Marathon.
