At a recent dinner with my friends, I was made fun of for shortening everything. I know I do this to an extent but I hadn't realized how often I do this. Am I lazy? Cannot I finish an entire word?
Here is a sample of some of the words I shorten on a daily business (most of the time without realizing):
OMG = Oh my gosh - sometimes I hate that I use this. But in reality it makes im'ing and texting waaay easier. But lately I've said it out loud…not okay.
Fab = fabulous
Whatev = whatever
Old gris = Old Grist Mill Bakery
There are lots more but I can't remember right now…of course.
I was just chatting with my friend Amy and was talking to her about my plans for after work. It wasn't until after I typed it that I realized I'd hit an all time low. I'd told her I was heading to 'robics after work. 'robics? instead of aerobics. Seriously?

That is awesome! I do it all too. I notice I do it alot with my everyday writing. My boss will come up to and be like what does comp. mean? and I say, well it could either mean complain, computer, complement. you just have to read the message....LOL!!! It's nice to know I am not the only lazy writer out there. BTW, I love your top picture!!
I srsly thk u have a prob!!!
Oh, my heck!!! :o)
Seriously....ol' gris is one of my favorites. And whatev.
And instead of saying "the usual" I will say, "the uje".
I tell ya, it's the way to speak these days!
