Book Worm

I am addicted to books right now. I keep referring to myself as Belle because I read a book in a day and am off to the library for the next one. In the last 2 weeks I've literally read six books.

Here's what I've just finished:
  1. The Uglies (2nd time reading it)
  2. Water for Elephants
  3. The Hunger Games
  4. How to Be Single (a novel - not a self help...obvi)
  5. LA Candy
  6. Sweet Little Lies, LA Candy #2
  7. Blue Bloods
  8. The Last Song
I guess I've read eight. Oh man. I'm addicted - I'm currently reading Catching Fire (#2 in the Hunger Games series). I stayed up until 3am Saturday night finishing The Last Song. I was sobbing. Ya know the kind where you've got snot running and you can hardly contain the awkward sob noises. That was me (good thing Fred was out cold).

What should I read next? What are you reading?

Are you on Goodreads? I am. Lets be friends - chanaltaylor{at}gmail{dot}com

I thought I read a lot. Read "the Shack" it's good. Or "The Red Tent".. It's kinda deep and a redone bible story but good!

I just read the Newbury for this year "When you Reach Me". I actually liked it a lot. Have you read the whole Uglies series? If not...do it. now. If you need copies I have all of them. I could bring them! Also, you could help me finish The Secret Life of Bees that got dropped in the river on Cat all those years ago. Never finished that one! Hmmm... if you have not read the Lightning Thief series by Rick Riordan, they are a must also. Can you tell I mostly read children's lit? Oh well...so is the life of a sixth grade teacher. I have more recommendations, but I won't overwhelm you. These will do for now.

"No Apology, The Case for American Greatness" By Mitt Romney. It's a good read even if you're not way into politics... Well, so far, I'm only a third through it.
